tourist season, as from the times
Ibiza became that splendid
Mediterranean Island that is highly noted in many favorites lists of
holiday makers spread around
the world.
The recently, replaced
Spanish government, does its extreme best to remove a number of wrong
scores in its rural tourists industry.
Proliferation is tackled, and tax payments are being checked.
First Mallorca and last year Ibiza
had to take measures too.
Illegal Ibiza finca, villa and
house rentals (based on
exorbitant profits), were tackled hard.
Measures and fines were imposed and the house owners must ensure
qualitative adaptations in
their properties, which nowadays require a justified rent to
groups and
families.
There must be sufficient toilets and bathrooms available, and
Ibiza Property owners have to
comply to all security requirements
and fire regulations, etc.
Up to that time the private rental
licenses have been withdrawn ! !
Also the Ibiza Nightlife scene
got to do with the Spanish law. World-famous
Ibiza clubs were even closed
long-term, due to ongoing noise nuisance and their visitors constant
violation of the law on narcotics !!
Ibiza was dismayed........... but had been shaken awake !
Something must change! Quantity and prices must go down and
quality
must increase.
Ibiza has learned,
invested, modernized, renovated
and innovated where it was
financially still possible.
Ibiza meanwhile hosts a
considerable number of
new
elegant
and trendy
hotels, restaurants,
bars as well as
spa & wellness and
agrotourism offers. The
familiar holistic services
and/or spiritual guidance or
massages, yoga, ayurvedic rituals

fields, are of course still active on Ibiza as well as the
